An interstitial combining interview and archival material with design and graphic effects to coincide with the Australian War Memorial’s commemorative exhibition of the storied Siege of Tobruk. 2011 marked the sixtieth anniversary of the predominantly Australian force which, outnumbered and outgunned, held out against Field Marshall Rommel and his Afrika Corps, denying access to the strategically vital North African port. The War Memorial’s exhibition, and Bearcage’s interstitial, celebrates this remarkable story.
