The Boffin, the Builder and the Bombardier is a fast paced, fun, living history format in which three mates deconstruct history by reconstructing the devices that made it. In each episode our characters uncover the secrets of the past by immersing themselves within it and blowing things up…  sometimes just for the fun of it. Beneath the good humour is a well-researched documentary centred around experimental archeology – the replication of objects and methods of the past to better understand them. The half hour documentary and accompanying 8 x 10 minute interstitials were a commission for ABC TV and are supported by Screen Australia and the ACT Government with ScreenACT.
