The third episode, “Ancient, New Tech” explores the inner workings of the six hundred and twenty six billion dollar timber industry, and the growing multitude of uses for a resource that humans have been utilizing for thousands of years. Further episodes include the quest for the Uranium in episode four “Bad Luck Rock”, the search for water and human’s essence of life in “Lifeblood”, and a deep dive into our clean energy systems in episode six “Green Revolution”.

One of the main themes of Rush! is the intense desire and obsession that comes with the pursuit of these valuable resources. The series explores how this quest has driven people to the brink of madness, causing them to go to extraordinary lengths to obtain what they consider precious.
